The song writer.
I'm trying to write a musical film called COAST set on the Gold Coast. Musicals tend to have one name.
I've written many songs in my mocumentaries which are tongue in Cheek and send ups in the exact style that was done in THE RUTLES. ie songs that are almost good but aren't good enough is the possible take on them.
In the RUTLES most of those songs could stand alone but because they were in a mocumentary they go unnoticed. Double Back Alley is a very good song.
Hangin Ten at Dickie Beach by myself is the pick of the songs from THE KING LIVES
Anyway
I write serious song lyrics in a 50's to early 60's style. I write songs for Sinatra or Dino or Nat King Cole and some sort of pop songs.
I want to meet a music writer but because of my comedy leanings it may be deemed that I am all jokey. In this case I am not.
Oh and I can sing a bit.
I taught myself to sing and sound like Dean Martin. Why not. (there's a story there).
When the moon hits my eye like a big pizza pie , that's amore.
